2019 MLCRA ANNUAL MEETING

Meeting Overview

​

MLCRA’s 20th annual meeting took place at Southgate in Shrewsbury on May 1, 2019.  MLCRA members from 16 Massachusetts retirement communities attended.
 
The keynote speaker was Robin Lipson, the Acting Secretary of the Massachusetts government’s Executive Office of Elder Affairs.

Elissa Sherman, President of LeadingAge Massachusetts, gave an update on senior living issues.   Kathleen Lynch Moncata and Nomita Ganguly from the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys led a discussion about legislation and advocacy.
 
Meeting participants also elected a new MLCRA Board of Directors.
